Heel pain is a common and debilitating condition caused by many different conditions that can greatly impact your daily routine. Our principal podiatrist, Nick Cotton, is experienced in treating heel pain and diagnosing the underlying cause.

Are you suffering from heel pain? It may be caused by plantar fasciitis (more correctly known as plantar fasciopathy). This condition involves damage to the thick band of tissue that connects the heel to the toes. We offer tailored treatment plans for this common foot ailment.

An ingrown toenail is a painful condition caused by the side or edge of the nail growing into the skin. We’ll assess your condition and recommend the best treatment plan – from nail trimming to surgery. Surgery is performed by our experienced podiatrist at our O’Connor clinic.

We provide an extensive array of orthotics to cater to your specific foot care needs and lifestyle, including custom-moulded, heat-moulded, and off-the-shelf prefabricated orthotics. We even provide orthotic solutions for high heels and fashion shoes.

Bunions are protrusions that develop at the base of the big toe joint with discolouration and often pain. Arthritis can develop in the joint and cause footwear issues. We help treat and manage pain, inflammation, and difficulty wearing footwear.

Characterised by pain and irritation of the Achilles tendon, this condition commonly occurs due to overuse, repetitive stress, sudden increases in physical activity and more. We offer a customised treatment plan for this painful problem.

Shin Splints

Shin Splints

A broad term that can include pain and inflammation along the shinbone, shin splints can be an uncomfortable ailment that impacts your daily life. We offer biomechanical assessments for this condition and provide customised treatment plans.

Flat Feet

Flat Feet

Flat feet caused by excessive foot pronation or hypermobility may lead to discomfort, instability, or injuries. We examine how the foot and leg function by offering biomechanical assessment appointments.

Posture or Alignment Issues

We provide a thorough biomechanical assessment to address your specific posture, alignment concerns and overall musculoskeletal health.

Are skin and nail issues causing you discomfort or embarrassment? We diagnose and treat corns, cracked heels, fungal infections, hard skin, athlete’s foot, and more.

There are numerous treatments available for verrucae (warts). At CBR Podiatry, we evaluate your foot health before selecting a suitable treatment for adults and children.

We offer assessment, diagnosis and treatment for kids aged 5 years old and up, covering a variety of podiatry concerns experienced by children. Our principal podiatrist, Nick, is a member of Australian Paediatric Podiatry.

If you have been diagnosed with diabetes, you must have your foot health monitored regularly. During a diabetes review, we will discuss your concerns, goals and current diabetes management strategies and perform several assessments. A report is then sent to your GP. Our podiatrist will also advise you on how to care for your feet to minimise the risks of serious complications in the future.

A heel spur is a bony outgrowth that develops on the heel bone. It can cause pain and discomfort, especially during walking or running. We offer biomechanical assessment appointments to evaluate the severity of your condition and provide you with a personalised treatment plan.

Video gait analysis is a scientific method of observing how you walk or run and the significant impact this can have on other areas of the body. This useful tool can help determine the cause of pain and injury and improve performance. CBR Podiatry provides gait analysis as part of our biomechanical assessment process. We identify restrictions and weaknesses and provide you with a tailored management plan.

CBR Podiatry is a proud podiatry and foot care service provider to NDIS participants (self and plan-managed). We can give you an initial consultation and assessment, develop a podiatry care plan that aligns with your healthcare goals and offer regular reassessments during your care plan.
