CBR Podiatry and the NDIS

CBR Podiatry is a proud provider of podiatry and foot care services to (self and plan-managed) National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants.

The NDIS funds podiatry and foot care supports for participants who have foot problems because of their disability and helps participants undertake daily living activities. The NDIS recognises that podiatry and foot care are especially important if you have a disability that affects sensation in your feet. More information about the NDIS and its funding of podiatry services can be found on the NDIS website.

CBR Podiatry provides:

  • Initial consultation and assessment by a podiatrist
  • Development of a podiatry care plan
  • Foot care such as toenail cutting or callus removal to prevent foot-related problems
  • Regular re-assessment during your care plan
  • Detailed assessment at the end of your care plan (to make sure your next plan includes the right amount of support)

The NDIS may fund assistive technology products to help manage your foot care needs such as:

  • Custom made orthotics
  • Maintenance and repair of orthotics

If you are an NDIS participant with podiatry supports included in your NDIS plan, feel free to contact us if you have any questions about our podiatry services or to book an initial appointment.
