Whether you have complex foot needs, athletic goals, or require general skin or footwear advice, we will develop a personalised plan that suits your unique requirements and goals. By focusing on the root factors, symptoms, and conditions, we work towards a variety of outcomes, like relieving ankle pain, restoring foot function after injuries, treating nail conditions, and improving the overall health of your feet.

Conditions Treated by CBR Podiatry

Enhancing and preserving the health and function of your feet and lower limbs can lead to substantial benefits for your overall body and well-being, with podiatry playing a crucial part.

Our podiatrist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of foot, ankle, and lower leg conditions. At CBR Podiatry, we aim to enhance your mobility, comfort, and overall lower limb function, addressing everything from childhood growth issues to sports injuries to chronic health problems.

Conditions we often address include:

heel pain treatment Watson

Heel pain is a common and often disabling condition, resulting from a range of causes, and it can heavily interfere with your routine. Our principal podiatrist has experience in diagnosing and treating the source of the pain.

plantar fasciitis Watson

Do you have heel pain? One possible cause is plantar fasciitis (also called plantar fasciopathy), which involves injury to the thick tissue that links the heel to the toes. This can result from overuse, injury, or other factors. We provide personalised treatment plans for this frequent condition.

Bunions Watson

Bunions are bony bumps that form at the base of the big toe joint, often causing discomfort and making it difficult to wear shoes. They can result in issues like limited movement and skin irritation. In some cases, arthritis can form in the joint, leading to additional complications. We offer treatment to manage pain and inflammation, along with footwear guidance.

Achilles Tendonitis Watson

Achilles tendon pain and irritation often arise from overuse, repetitive strain, or a sudden spike in physical activity. We provide personalised treatment plans for this condition and guide you through your rehabilitation process.

ingrown toenail treatment Watson

An ingrown toenail typically involves the side or corner of the nail, often the big toe, growing into the skin, causing pain, swelling, and sometimes infection. Wearing shoes can become difficult. Our experienced podiatrist will assess your condition and suggest appropriate treatments, ranging from nail trimming to minor surgery, at our local clinic.

Orthotics Watson

Orthotics can make a considerable difference to your movement, alignment, and overall comfort. We offer a comprehensive range of orthotics to suit your unique foot care requirements and lifestyle, including custom-moulded, heat-moulded, and prefabricated orthotics. We also provide specialised orthotics for high heels and fashion shoes.

Shin Splints Watson

Shin Splints

Shin splints, a general term linked to pain and inflammation along the shinbone, can be a painful condition that affects your daily activities. We provide biomechanical assessments to evaluate your movements and mobility, allowing us to create a tailored plan for improvement and prevention.

Flat Feet Watson

Flat Feet

Flat feet are often due to excessive foot pronation or hypermobility, not necessarily low arches, which is a common misunderstanding. This condition can cause discomfort, instability, or even injuries, potentially impacting other areas of the body through misalignment. We offer biomechanical assessments to evaluate your foot and leg movements and create a plan to provide the right support.

foot posture Watson

Posture or Alignment Issues

Improper alignment of joints or muscles in the lower limbs can impact your whole body. We perform detailed biomechanics assessments to examine your posture, alignment, and overall musculoskeletal health, and we will design a targeted plan to meet your unique requirements.

skin and nail treatment Watson

Are you dealing with skin or nail problems that cause discomfort or embarrassment? We treat a variety of conditions, including corns, cracked heels, fungal infections, hard skin, and athlete’s foot. Additionally, we offer general skin and nail care to support your foot health.

wart removal Watson

There are many treatment options for verrucae, commonly referred to as warts or plantar warts. At CBR Podiatry, we examine your foot health and identify the wart type to choose the best treatment approach.

Children’s Podiatry Watson

We offer podiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for children aged 5 and above. From toe walking and leg pain to injuries, we address many childhood foot concerns. Our principal podiatrist, Nick, is a member of Australian Paediatric Podiatry and is ready to help your family.

diabetic foot care Watson

If you have been diagnosed with diabetes, it is vital that your foot health is monitored regularly by an experienced professional. During a diabetes review, we will discuss your concerns, goals and current diabetes management strategies and perform several assessments. We will then send a report to your GP. Our podiatrist will also advise you on how to care for your feet to minimise the risks of serious complications in the future.

heel spurs Watson

Heel spurs are bony outgrowths on the heel bone that can result in pain and discomfort, particularly when walking or running. We perform biomechanical assessments to evaluate the severity and offer a customised treatment plan based on your needs.

Video Gait Analysis Watson

Video gait analysis is a scientific technique used to observe how you walk or run, providing insights into how your movements impact your body and overall health. This valuable tool helps identify the cause of pain and injury, while also improving performance. At CBR Podiatry, gait analysis is part of our biomechanical assessments, allowing us to detect restrictions and weaknesses, and create a tailored management plan.

NDIS podiatry Watson

As a trusted provider of podiatry and foot care services to NDIS participants (both self and plan-managed), CBR Podiatry offers an initial consultation and assessment, develops a care plan aligned with your healthcare goals, and provides regular reassessments during your care.
